A rich and creamy hot chocolate made with raw cacao, natural sweeteners, and dairy-free milk—customizable with superfood add-ins for a healthy twist.
1-gallon almond milk (oat or coconut)
3 T Raw cacao powder
1/4 C chocolate chips
1/2-1 C honey (to taste)
1/4 C coconut sugar, or pinch of pure monk fruit (to taste)
2 T vanilla
Dash of Himalayan salt
On the side: for add-ins, mint chlorophyll or peppermint oil/extract, marshmallows
Warm almond milk in a large pot over medium heat.
Add chocolate chips and cacao powder. Whisk until fully melted and smooth.
Remove from heat. Stir in honey, coconut sugar/monk fruit, vanilla, and salt.
Adjust sweetness to taste.
Serve hot, topped with optional add-ins such as peppermint flavoring or marshmallows.
