These bone broth jello shots are a fun and nourishing way to enjoy gut-healing collagen and minerals. Made with grass-fed gelatin (or agar agar for vegan), they’re perfect for immune support, digestion, and overall wellness.
1 C bone broth (see recipe for homemade broth in Doc’s Kitchen recipes)
1 T gelatin (quality, grass-fed pastured raised source or Agar Agar powder for vegan option)
Pour bone broth into a saucepan and set to medium/low heat.
Slowly sprinkle in the gelatin and whisk to combine.
Heat for 4-5 minutes or until the gelatin is fully melted.
Pull off the stove and let cool for a few minutes.
Once cooled, add to silicone molds and put them in the fridge to set for 45-60 minutes. (Put silicone molds on a cookie sheet prior to filling them for easy transportation into the fridge).
Add 1/3 C berries (blended 1-2 minutes in blender) and 2T honey to the bone broth prior to adding gelatin and follow the rest of the instructions.
Pour bone broth straight into molds and place in the freezer for 3-4 hrs.
Once frozen pop them out of molds and into a freezer bag and place back into the freezer.
Add 2-3 bone broth cubes to a small cup of water daily for gut lining repair or simply for the beneficial properties homemade bone broth contains.
