HERBAL

Herbal medicine is the practice of botany and the use of plants for medicinal and therapeutic use to assist bodily functions. They are used as tablets, capsules, powders, teas, extracts, and fresh or dried plants. Many over-the-counter and prescription drugs are based on ingredients originally derived from plants. However, unlike prescription or OTC medicines, whose side effects are longer than their symptomatic benefits, herbs have little to no side effects. Herbal medicine can be traced back to early Ancient Egypt and China, where they were used as natural remedies for any and every situation that presented itself.
Herbal supplements have the ability to stop viruses in their track, boost the immune system, improve mood, relax, lose weight, encourage sleep, nourish organs, remove pathogens, strengthen body systems, control inflammation, and provide overall prevention.
Herbalism was my first love, so I tend to use different herbs and herbal combinations, with the power of other modalities, in our practice. Not all herbs are created equal, so quality growing practices are key for potency and efficacy. Therefore, if we don’t stock it we’ll be sure to recommend a quality brand.
