DOC'S DETOX BATH

Detox baths are an amazing way to facilitate toxins out of the body. From colds and flu to daily detoxification or sore muscles, soaking in this mixture is sure to help flush impurities from the body.

Generally, your body removes these toxins from your system without you needing to get involved. However, due to the overwhelming onslaught of toxins today - from pollution, food, water, medication and more - a buildup of toxins can compromise the body’s capacity to process them out, leaving our system susceptible.

To help your liver and other systems remove the toxin load, it’s a good idea to try taking a detox bath on a regular basis.

The recipe:

1 C Epsom Salt, 1/2 C Apple Cider Vinegar, 1/2 C Bentonite Clay, essential oils: Lavender, Rosemary, Patchouli, Peppermint, Eucalyptus or Orange.

Optional: Baking soda, dried flowers or herbs.

Detox baths can help colds and flu (and all symptoms associated), arthritis pain, swelling, inflammation, insomnia, psoriasis, sunburn pain and redness, tired and swollen muscles, anxiety and stress to name a few.

*Be sure you have a house water filter or a filter attachment or you’ll be absorbing more toxins than you’re purging. Baking Soda will help neutralize chlorine but that’s only one of hundreds of chemicals found in tap water.
